The Boyce College Writing Center
Our purpose is to help Boyce students improve their skills in every stage of the writing process so they can make a powerful impact for the Kingdom.
The Writing Center is not an editing service. Our goal is to help students increase their skill and confidence in generating ideas, writing drafts, and editing errors. While we help students identify patterns of errors in their writing to become self-editors, we are not an editing service.
Services
We provide free appointments for students. We help students in any stage of the writing process from brainstorming to editing.
Location: Carver 113D
On campus hours: MTW 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Online hours: R 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. & MTW 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Professors: If you would like the Writing Center staff to give a class presentation on a specific aspect of writing, please email writingcenter@sbts.edu.
