February 15
GRADUATION APPLICATION-
February 15 is the deadline for submitting the “Graduation Application.” Failure to submit the application by the deadline may result in the delay of your graduation until the next semester. The Graduation Application is located in the “My Ecampus” section of the Ecampus website and is to be filled out and submitted online.
ACADEMIC APPAREL -
Rental apparel will be ordered based upon the information you submit on your graduation application. For capsize measurements and information for purchasing your graduation apparel, please contact LifeWay Campus Bookstore, 502-897-4506. If desiring to purchase apparel, you must do so by March 15. Apparel will be available for pick-up the week of graduation in the LifeWay bookstore.
MINISTRY RESOURCES OFFICE-
This office welcomes you to list your resume for churches seeking ministers. Visit the Church Resources link on the Seminary website and the Help Desk tab on Ecampus. Call 502-897-4208, or email Ministry Resources with questions.

COMPOSITE PHOTOGRAPH -
The graduation composite contains individual pictures of graduates and faculty. Only those who have their picture taken will receive a composite. Pictures will be taken in the photography studio, located on the ground floor of the library. Please enter the double doors on the south side of the Library across from Norton 195-this is not the main entrance. Please contact Student Resources at 502-897-4205 or studentresources@sbts.edu to schedule a five-minute appointment. Men should be dressed in suit and tie, and women should wear Sunday dress.

March 15
ACADEMIC STATUS -
Graduation audits are automatically conducted by Academic Records. If you are receiving this email, you should have already received notice of your graduation audit through your student e-mail. If you have any questions, please contact academicstanding@sbts.edu as soon as possible.
All outstanding academic issues, excluding those of the current semester but including the completion of all approved transfer of credit, must be resolved by the mid-point of the semester, March 15, or your May graduation may be in jeopardy.
SEMINARY EXTENSION COURSES-
Students who have received approval for Seminary Extension courses please note: all required documentation (including official transcript with final course grade of “C” or higher; completed “Transcript Evaluation Form;” etc.) for transfer work from Seminary Extension must be received by March 15th in order to be applicable for May graduation.
April 15
GRADUATION FEE -
A graduation fee of $200 will be charged to your student account in March and payment is due by April 15th to avoid late charges. You will NOT be able to view the graduation fee on Ecampus, but it still must be paid by April 15th. Additionally, all accounts (short-term loans, library fines, copy charges, library books, etc.) must be paid prior to graduation rehearsal.
April 23
GRADUATING STUDENT INFORMATION FORM -
This online form, different from the Graduation Application, must be completed by Friday, April 23. A link to this form will be emailed to your SBTS email account in March.
April 29
ACADEMIC APPAREL -
Academic Apparel will be available for pickup in the LifeWay bookstore during store hours beginning Thursday, April 29 . Please pick up your apparel toward the earlier part of graduation week to allow enough time to try on your cap and gown. Students must return apparel immediately following graduation to the campus bookstore. Please wear the following under your gown for graduation:
- Men - dark slacks, button down shirt, tie, and dress shoes

Women - skirt or dress and dress shoes
April 30
RSVP FOR RECEPTION -
Each semester the President honors graduates and their families with a reception held after the graduation rehearsal. You will be mailed an invitation in the beginning of April and must RSVP to the Student Resources Office by Friday, April 30.
May 6
GRADUATION REHEARSAL -
Boyce graduation rehearsal will be Thursday, May 6, at 12:45 p.m. Attendance is required. Students should meet in the upstairs hallway of Honeycutt. Please check your student email before rehearsal to obtain your line-up number. Rehearsal should last about an hour and a half, and it will conclude at Alumni Chapel. Attendance is required. Students with conflicts should contact Erin Joiner (502-897-4205).
GRADUATION COMPOSITE & SPOUSE APPRECIATION CERTIFICATES-
Students who had their photograph taken for the graduation composite will receive a copy of the composite at graduation rehearsal. Also, requested spouse certificates will be distributed at graduation rehearsal.
PRESIDENT’S RECEPTION -
The President’s Reception will follow Graduation Rehearsal. A dessert fellowship will take place at the President’s home from 2:30p.m. to 4:00p.m. Students with last names A-G are invited to visit the Mohler’s between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m., H-R between 3:00p.m. and 3:30p.m., and S-Z between 3:30-4:00p.m. Shuttle service will be provided from the Sesquicentennial Pavilion to the President’s home. Recommended dress is coat and tie for men and Sunday dress for women.
May 7
COMMENCEMENT -
Boyce graduation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 7 in Alumni Chapel. Please know in advance that Alumni Chapel has limited seating for guests. Overflow seating is available in Heeren Hall. Doors will open for guests at 9am that morning. Commencement is usually 1½ - 2 hours long for Boyce. Guests and family unable to attend may view graduation live on the Faith Channel, channel 19, on local cable. Handicap seating is available with additional space for one guest by contacting the Student Resources Office at 502-897-4205.
