Garnetta Smith

Mrs. Smith serves her local church teaching women’s Bible studies and is often called upon to speak at women’s conferences. Mrs. Smith also serves on the faculty of the Seminary Wives’ Institute at Southern and has taught in the Womens’ Ministry Institute, also at Southern.
Mrs. Smith was appointed to her current position in November, 2008.
She and her husband Lawrence, who serves at Dean of Students and VP for Community Relations, married in 1979. They have two grown sons, Jason and Edward.
