Owen Strachan formerly served as the Managing Director of the Carl F. H. Henry Center for Theological Understanding at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and the founding Associate Director of the Jonathan Edwards Center at TEDS (2008-2010). From 2005-07, he served as Editorial Assistant and Teaching Assistant to the President at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has worked for the Bush White House in the U. S. Department of State, the president of Bowdoin College, and the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Labor. He trained for pastoral ministry at Crossway Community Church of Kenosha, WI; Evanston Baptist Church of Evanston, IL; Capitol Hill Baptist of Washington, DC; and Berean Baptist Church of Brunswick, ME. Strachan is a fellow of the Society for the Advancement of Ecclesial Theology. Dr. Strachan has written for such publications as The Atlantic, First Things, Christianity Today, and the Scottish Bulletin of Evangelical Theology. He is married to Bethany and is the father of Ella and Gavin. An avid pickup basketball player and hip-hop enthusiast, his passion is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ through teaching, preaching, and writing.
