Worldview Conference

We host hundreds of students on our campus every year for worldview events.

Now we’re bringing the content to you.

Imagine spending an entire weekend focused on the truth of the Gospel with one of the leading Christian hip hop artists in the nation and two biblical worldview profs who love to talk about this stuff. Thousands of students have attended the Give Me An Answer Conferences over the last five years - now we are taking our worldview training on the road. Over the next year we will hold worldview conferences in Springfield, MO; Cleveland, TN; Greenville, SC; and Philladelphia, PA.

Our next event will be held at First Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri (March 30-31, 2012)

For $30 you will get an unbelievable weekend including a Trip Lee concert and focused teaching times to help you better understand and defend your faith. You can also earn college credit for your experience*

Friday (March 30)

7PM - Trip Lee Concert

The concert will be open to the public for $10 at the door. Anyone registered for the conference will receive free admission.

9PM - Post Concert Dessert Reception and Q&A with Trip Lee

Only open to those attending the conference.

About the Conference Speakers:

Trip Lee

Trip Lee is an award winning Christian hip-hop artist with Reach Records. Trip resides in Washington, DC with his wife and is finishing his Biblical and Theological Studies degree by distance with Boyce College. He is currently touring, working on his fourth album, blogging (bragonmylord.com) and aiming to author a few New York Times bestsellers.  Trip’s unending desire is to proclaim the grace and beauty of Jesus Christ to anyone that will listen. Ultimately, he hopes this journey will someday lead to pastoring a church.

Dr. Travis Kerns

Dr. Kerns was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. Kerns brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of Christian apologetics, world religions, and new religious movements. His area of expertise is centered in the discipline of new religious movements, especially The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dr. Kerns is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, the Evangelical Philosophical Society, and the Society for Mormon Philosophy and Theology. His desire is to lead young men and women to love evangelism and discipleship through the study and practice of apologetics. He and his wife, Staci, have one son, Jeremiah, and they call the fine city of Louisville their home.

Dr. Dan DeWitt

Dan is a sketching, writing, thinking, coffee drinking, husband, father, pastor, creative combatant blessed with the opportunity to serve the faculty and students of Boyce College. Prior to Boyce, Dan served as the lead pastor of The Campus Church, a campus of Highview Baptist Church, which met on the campus of the University of Louisville. Dan, his wife, and three sons live in Louisville, KY. Dan posts regularly on his blog theolatte.com and on Twitter at twitter.com/dandewitt.

College Credit Option

*Students may earn 3 credit hours from Boyce College for completing the worldview conference and a post class assignment. Students who desire to earn college credit may fill out the necessary paper work at the event. The cost for the course is $75 (in addition to the conference fee). Boyce College is nationally and regionally accredited and these credits are transferable.
