Connell brings to Boyce College 25 years of pastoral experience in the local church as a worship pastor, youth pastor, Christian school principal, church planter, and senior pastor. This well rounded ministerial experience provides a perspective of the worship pastor’s role, which is as theological as it is musical.
He has previous teaching experience in public and private education ranging from grades K–12 in vocal and instrumental music and has taught at the collegiate level for five years. Personal discipleship and mentoring of his students is a special passion of his. It is Connell’s privilege to train the 21st century worship pastor in a manner that exemplifies that he is primarily a pastor who is capable of applying the gospel of God’s Word to the worship life and pastoral ministry of the local church.
