Barry Joslin
Associate Professor of Christian Theology
B.A. Louisiana Tech University, Th.M. Dallas Theological Seminary, Ph.D. The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Joslin brings a great love for the Greek language and Biblical Theology to Boyce College. He earned his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in May 2001 and his Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in December 2005. His dissertation was on the theology of the law in the epistle to the Hebrews, which was published in 2009. He has served on the faculty at Boyce College since August 2004, and was granted tenure in January 2011.
In addition to his academic ministries, Dr. Joslin loves his local church and serves as the worship pastor at Ninth and O Baptist Church (www.naobc.org). As a worship pastor it is his goal to magnify Christ by pastoring the body through congregational worship. He and his wife Jessica were married in 2000, and have four children: Haddon, Carson, Elisabeth, and Mary. He enjoys music, SEC football, auto racing, reading, and being outdoors with his family.
Dr. Joslin is currently on a research and writing sabbatical for the 2011-2012 academic school year, and can be reached at the email listed above or at http://www.facebook.com/barryjoslin.

- Hebrews, Christ, and the Law: the Theology of the Mosaic Law in Hebrews 7:1-10:18. Paternoster Biblical Monograph Series. Carlisle, England: Paternoster, (forthcoming, 2008). This monograph is the published version of Dr. Joslin’s dissertation.
- Mounce’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words. Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2006. Dr. Joslin contributed 35 articles to this dictionary of Old and New Testament words. Zondervan is hoping that it will replace the old but popular Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words, which was based on the King James translation.
